Shelburne House is a non-smoking facility. Children over age 10 are welcome; however, we cannot accomodate pets. Please notify us in advance if a child will accompany you. In certain circumstances, children younger than age 10 may stay at Shelburne House; please contact the hostess to discuss.

Check-in time is between 3:00 p.m and 6:00 p.m.; check-out time is 11:00 a.m. If you will arrive late, please let us know so that arrangements can be made. The front door is locked at 9:00 p.m.; checked-in guests are provided with a front door key and may come and go at any time of day or night.

Reservation Policy: Reservations are held with an advance deposit equal to the last night's stay or half of the total stay, whichever is greater. Payment may be made with cash, personal check, or traveller's checks. At this time, we do not accept credit cards.

Cancellation Policy: With at least seven days notice, your deposit will be returned less a $20.00 processing fee.

Room Descriptions and Rates:
All the rooms at Shelburne House are named after varieties of apples that can be found in old orchards in New England!

Pippin Room: (Click on room name to view images)
Pippin is a private room with large private bath accessed through the hall. Large stall shower, no tub. The bed is queen-sized. Robes are provided. This room is in the front of the house with a view to the east over the Mohawk Orchard to the Pioneer Valley.

Baldwin Room: (Click on room name to view images)
Baldwin is a private room with private bath. Small tub and separate stall shower. The bed is queen-sized. This room is in the south end of the house, with a view to the south over the Mohawk Orchard and the beaver pond.

Northern Spy Suite: (Click on room name to view images)
The Northern Spy is a private suite with private bath. Medium-sized square tub with shower. Bed is queen-sized. Room is on the north/back side of the house, with knee-height windows and a view over the orchard to East Hill. This is the largest room, with a separate sitting room.

All room rates are based on double-occupancy, per one night's stay. An additional adult (18 years of age or older) in the Pippin Room, Baldwin Room, or the Northern Spy Suite is an additional $30 per night's stay. An additional child (17 years of age or younger) in any of the rooms is an additional $20 per night's stay. Rates are subject to change without notice.

For the months of September and October, weekend reservations are two nights' lodging, minimum.
